Sandra Reid

Sandra Reid is one of the few singers to perform and record in six Celtic languages. She is a respected authority on traditional Celtic folk songs. Sandra studied classical vocal technique at the Universities of Ottawa and Toronto. She has performed solo concerts in New York City at the New School, New York University, Irish Arts Center, American Irish Historical Society. Sandra has done solo performances and taught vocal workshops at the El Feile Festival, Barcelona, Spain, The Tara Circle Irish Cultural Center, Greater Danbury Irish Festival and the Celtic League Pan-Celtic Conference among others. As a certified teacher of the F. M. Alexander Technique, she combines vocal technique with Alexander Technique principles.
