Mark Flynn specializes in teaching the fundamentals of matched-grip playing through the “Moeller method” and song-form analysis. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Berklee College of Music and Masters of the Arts in Music Education from New York University.  Mark has studied with Alan Dawson, Jim Chapin, Dom Famularo, and Joe Morello.  In addition to teaching Mark is an active performer and has played drums for the late soul-singer James Carr, Benjamin Orr of the Cars, and John Rzeznik of the Goo Goo Dolls.
