John is best known for his work with JoJo Meyer's band Nerve, playing improvised electronic music,
as well as for being a member of experimental folk-rock band Phonograph. He has performed extensively throughout North
America, Europe, and Japan, as well as countless local shows. John is highly experienced in nearly all styles of music,
from jazz to rock to drum'n'bass and beyond. He briefly attended the New School University's Jazz program,
and has studied double bass extensively with John Pattitucci and Jeremy McCoy (Metropolitan Opera Symphony). John's
specialties are improvisation, technique, time, and creative use of effects and processing. COURSES
